The SSE Arena is part of the Odyssey Complex – a sports and entertainment hub located within Belfast’s Titanic Quarter. The Arena has a capacity of 10,000+ for concerts and is the home of the Stena Line Belfast Giants ice hockey team.

Total renovation for seamless sales
Over the past five years, the SSE has undergone a multi-million-pound renovation project, and this culminated in the venue’s recent digital overhaul. Eyekiller was engaged to create a world-class website to suit the high-profile venue and to promote greater ticket sales.
The VIP experience
The brief included a desire to increase ticket sales generally, but also to increase bookings of the SSE’s sponsored lounges and hospitality suites. We ensured that these experiences were well represented across the site and that they were simple to book.
Driving sports fans to deeper engagement
To further promote the Stena Line Belfast Giants, Eyekiller introduced a dedicated and branded area to the SSE Arena website. We added countdown clock to their next game, adding a sense of urgency and to encourage ticket booking. Users can easily access the season’s schedule, buy season tickets and book an exclusive suite for the next exciting game.
Show-stopping production
To match the top-quality ‘A-list’ shows presented by the SSE, we ensured that the website was of a high calibre. We included an easy-to-navigate calendar, optimised all events with eye-catching multimedia, and user-tested all elements for performance.
Upswing in all sales
Bookings of the hospitality suites have exploded and an uptick in sales has been noticeable across all tickets and merchandise. Sales for Belfast Giants games have also increased, encouraged by our unique touches – like our engaging countdown-to-game clock.
