Delivering a website that promotes care services and drives vital fundraising for Scotland’s largest hospice.
We designed and developed an inclusive and future-proof website for St Margaret of Scotland Hospice, Scotland’s oldest and largest hospice. The new platform reflects their mission to deliver compassionate care, while enabling patients, families, donors, and volunteers to access services, support fundraising campaigns, and engage with ease—especially during the most difficult times. Every element was carefully considered to ensure a calm, accessible and emotionally supportive digital experience that honours the Hospice’s values and legacy.
Visit WebsiteWe began with deep audience research using stakeholder workshops and Google Analytics data to understand user needs across multiple groups—from patients and families to healthcare professionals and volunteers. These insights shaped a streamlined, intuitive experience that promotes engagement, reduces friction, and empowers users to take meaningful action.
The site was built on Craft CMS, ensuring security, flexibility, and ease of use for internal teams. Our custom donation solution leverages Craft Commerce, with campaign features such as Light Up a Life prominently featured to drive conversions. Accessibility best practices—including keyboard navigation and colour contrast—ensure the site is inclusive to all, with ongoing enhancements planned as part of our continued partnership.
