Your Eyekiller email footer
Below is a preview of how your email footer will look. Follow the instructions to implement this correctly.
Installation Instructions
- Open Mail, then go to Mail > Settings from the menu bar (or Mail > Preferences on older macOS versions).
- Click the Signatures tab. Select your email account from the left-hand column.
- Click the + button to create a new signature. Give it a name, for example 'Eyekiller'.
- Click into the signature preview area on the right and paste with Cmd+V. Your formatted footer will appear.
- Close Settings. In the 'Choose Signature' dropdown for your account, select the signature you just created to set it as your default.
Important
iOS Mail does not support HTML signatures. Your footer cannot be displayed with images and formatting on iPhone or iPad. Follow the steps below to add a plain-text version, or use Gmail on your device instead.
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Scroll down and tap Mail, then tap Signature.
- Tap Per Account if you want to set different signatures for different mailboxes.
- Type your name, job title, phone number and email address as plain text.
- Navigate back to save. Your signature will appear on all new emails sent from this device.
- Open Gmail in your web browser and click the Settings cog in the top-right corner.
- Click See all settings, then select the General tab.
- Scroll down to the Signature section and click Create new. Give your signature a name.
- Click into the signature text area and paste with Cmd+V or Ctrl+V. Your formatted footer will appear.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save Changes.
Important
Do not paste HTML directly into Outlook — it will strip the formatting. Download your signature file below and follow these steps to install it correctly.
- Download your signature file using the Download .htm button on this page and save it to your desktop.
- Open File Explorer and navigate to: C:Users[your username]AppDataRoamingMicrosoftSignatures
- Copy the downloaded .htm file into this folder.
- Open Outlook and go to File > Options > Mail, then click the Signatures button.
- Your new signature will appear in the list. Select it and set it as the default for new messages and replies, then click OK.
