Part of the global VINCI Airports network and midway through a £100 million investment programme, BIA needed a digital platform to match its growing ambition. Eyekiller was appointed to design and build a modern, accessible website that would enhance the passenger experience, increase revenue from bookable services, and serve as the airport's primary digital interface for millions of users every year. Grounded in an existing relationship, with Eyekiller having managed paid advertising for BIA's car parking since 2020, we brought genuine audience insight to the project from day one. [User Experience Design](https://eyekiller.com/services/user-experience-design) was central to the build, with each core task including checking a flight, booking parking, or accessing airport services designed to be fast and frictionless across all devices. [Accessible design](https://eyekiller.com/services/accessible-website-design) was embedded from the outset, meeting WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards across colour contrast, keyboard operability, and semantic structure, ensuring the experience works for every passenger regardless of ability. Built on [Craft CMS](https://eyekiller.com/services/craft-cms-agency), the site gives BIA's editorial team full control over day-to-day content, from live parking notices and flight information through to emergency ticker tape messaging and pop-up alerts for operational disruptions. Microsoft Azure SSO integration means staff can access the CMS securely through their existing credentials, removing friction for internal teams. Eyekiller also produced destination content to bring BIA's 70+ route network to life, giving passengers a richer and more inspiring experience.
