Solicitors instructing counsel, members of the public, practising barristers, aspiring barristers, media and government stakeholders each needed their own route through the same site. The new website puts a searchable Barrister Directory at its centre, fed automatically from the Bar's own data, and organises legal guidance, governance and news into clear audience-led journeys. Built on Craft CMS to WCAG 2.2 AA, it gives the Bar full editorial control and reflects the authority and independence of the profession it represents. Our [user experience design](https://eyekiller.com/services/user-experience-design) turned those findings into audience-led navigation, so a solicitor instructing counsel and a member of the public seeking guidance each reach what they need in a few steps. [Accessible design](https://eyekiller.com/services/accessible-website-design) shaped every layout decision, from contrast and typography through to keyboard operation and mobile behaviour. Built on [Craft CMS](https://eyekiller.com/services/craft-cms-agency), the site gives the Bar's team full control over pages, documents and permissions through modular content blocks. The Barrister Directory draws on a structured data file from the Bar's own systems, keeping listings current without manual entry and supporting search across name, location and area of practice. A filterable news and publications archive, internal site search and accessible forms make years of statements, reports and guidance easy to find and act on.
